House Framing Takes Shape on a Fresh Foundation in Big Lake

Every solid home starts in the same place - the ground beneath it. Before a single wall goes up, the foundation has to be poured right. Level, square, and strong enough to carry everything that comes after it. That's where we started on this Big Lake build, and getting that piece right made everything else possible.

Once the concrete was cured and ready, we moved straight into framing. This is the stage where a build really starts to feel real. The floor plan stops being lines on paper and becomes actual rooms you can walk through. Doorways, hallways, exterior walls - it all starts to click into place. There's something satisfying about watching a slab of concrete turn into a house layout you can actually stand inside of.

The framing work here shows the kind of detail that matters on a job like this. Walls need to be plumb. Corners need to be square. If something is off by even a little at this stage, it causes problems all the way through the rest of the build - drywall, windows, doors, roofline. We take that seriously, and it shows in how the structure comes together.
